HOW TO BREW IT

Two minutes, and very hard to get wrong.

15gCoffee, ground for the AeroPress
250gWater, just off the boil
2 minStart to finish
  1. Rinse the filter and sit the AeroPress on the mug.
  2. Add the coffee, then pour the water to the top.
  3. Stir gently, cap it and leave it for 90 seconds.
  4. Press slowly — about 30 seconds.

If it fights you on the way down, grind a little coarser next time.

Made for us, and nowhere else.

John Ryan has been throwing our stoneware in Co. Sligo since 2011. Every mug is made on the wheel and glazed by hand, so no two are quite the same.

You will not find them in any other shop.

Frequently asked questions

Whole bean or ground for the AeroPress?

If they have a grinder, take it whole bean. Grinding fresh is the single biggest thing anyone can do for the cup, and it costs nothing.

If they do not, choose AeroPress and we will grind it to suit before it leaves us.

Who is this for?

Someone starting out, or someone who wants good coffee without a machine on the counter. The AeroPress is forgiving, quick to clean and nearly impossible to ruin.

If they already have a brewer, One Good Cup is the mug and the coffee on their own.

Can I add a note?

Yes. Add a gift note at checkout and we will write it in by hand.

About the coffee.

Sú Beatha is one of our three signature blends, roasted fresh weekly with the roast date on every bag.

When it runs out, the whole Signature Blend Collection is there — and a subscription if they would rather it just arrived.
