Why this matcha.
Single‑cultivar Okumidori. Grown in Kagoshima, this cultivar is prized for medium‑high umami, clean green aroma and gentle astringency, producing a balanced, “everyday ceremonial” bowl.
First spring harvest. Only the earliest, youngest leaves are picked after 10–14 days of shading, concentrating chlorophyll, L‑theanine and sweetness while keeping bitterness in check.
Certified organic (JAS). Farmed without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers and certified to Japanese Agricultural Standards for organic production.
Freshness‑focused packaging. A sealed silver tin, foil‑wrapped for light and oxygen protection, helps preserve colour, aroma and flavour until you are ready to open it.
Crafted for modern rituals. Smooth enough to enjoy as straight usucha, but structured enough to hold its character in matcha lattes and iced drinks.
