MSL | Mount Street Lower

This Coffeeangel can be found at 1/2 Mount Street Lower, Dublin 2. Built in 1837, this beautiful Georgian building - just steps from Merrion Square Park - is steeped in Irish history. From draper John O'Grady's mosaic tiled entrance and his beautifully carved fascia panel from the early 1900's to the government records of bullet holes from the battle at Mount Street Bridge during the 1916 Easter Rising.

We have lovingly and respectfully restored the building's facade. Sadly much of the original interior features have been lost over the last +100 years. Rather than try to recreate what has been lost, we have juxtaposed the beauty and history of the facade with an interior based on Coffeeangel's ever-evolving, modern architectural language. 

Whether sitting in or popping by for a quick coffee to go and a freshly made treat, we will be open six days a week, Monday to Saturday.
