Prices include VAT and are for the gifts only. If everything goes to one address it is an ordinary order and our usual free-delivery threshold applies. Sent to people individually, every gift is its own parcel: €8 in Dublin, €10.45 elsewhere in Ireland, Northern Ireland included. Collection from any of our cafés is free. Minimum order is ten gifts.
01 — Tell us the numbers
How many people, roughly what you want to spend on each, and when they should arrive. Caroline comes back inside one working day with a proposal and a price, delivery included.
02 — Send us the names
Names and work email addresses, and that is all. A list in a spreadsheet — there is a template to download beside the enquiry form — or typed into the form if there are only a few. No postal addresses, and nobody chasing colleagues who work from home.
03 — We do the rest
Each person chooses from the gifts you have picked and tells us where they are. Every parcel is tracked, or delivered by us if the address is central Dublin. You get one invoice with your purchase order number on it.
What arrives
Everything is packed by hand. The smaller sets go in our gift box with an orange sleeve; the larger ones are boxed with branded tissue paper, and a handwritten note goes in if you want one.
Nobody who receives a gift ever sees what it cost — not on the packing slip, not anywhere.
Tax-free, under the Small Benefit Exemption
Ireland's Small Benefit Exemption lets an employer give staff a limited number of non-cash benefits each year with no tax, PRSI or USC on either side. A gift is worth its full value to the person who receives it. The same amount paid as salary is not.
It is not only a December allowance. Employers use it for new starters, long service, closing a good year and thanking a team after a hard quarter.
Revenue sets the threshold and the rules, and they change from time to time, so check the current position with your accountant. We sell coffee, not tax advice.
The practical answers
- Minimum order — ten gifts. Below that, the ordinary shop is quicker for you than we are. If you hold an account with us and want to send one gift at a time, say so and we will put them on your monthly invoice instead.
- Lead time — two weeks for anything in the range above. Six weeks if it carries your branding or your own blend.
- Busy periods — Christmas is the exception: orders confirmed by 21 November for December delivery. After that we will do our best and tell you honestly whether we can. The rest of the year, two weeks is two weeks.
A list of names and work email addresses. That is the whole of it. There is a spreadsheet template beside the enquiry form, or type them into the form if there are only a few.
We email each person, they choose from the gifts you have picked, and they give us their own delivery address. You never have to collect home addresses or chase anyone who is working from home.
If you would rather nobody was emailed, say so and we will send everything to one address for you to hand out.
What delivery costs depends on how many addresses, not on how many gifts.
Everything to one address — a reception, an office, your own desk — is an ordinary order. One delivery for the whole lot, and our usual free-delivery threshold applies exactly as it would on anything else from the shop. Forty gifts to one office is one parcel rather than forty, and on smaller gifts it is the only arrangement that makes sense: forty gifts at €17 each would otherwise carry €418 of delivery, more than half as much again as the gifts themselves.
Sent to people individually, every gift is its own parcel and delivery is quoted per parcel: €8 in Dublin, €10.45 elsewhere in Ireland, both including VAT. Central Dublin addresses are usually delivered by our own team rather than a courier.
Northern Ireland is priced exactly as the rest of Ireland. No customs, no paperwork, and nothing for the person receiving it to pay. Belfast is not an export.
Collection is free from any of our nine Dublin cafés, with no minimum and nothing to arrange beyond telling us.
We do send to Britain and further afield. Ask and we will quote it, with the shipping and any import costs shown separately so you can see them before you decide. We ship duty paid — nobody who receives a gift is ever asked for money on the doorstep.
Corporate orders are invoiced. You get one VAT invoice with your purchase order number on it, rather than forty card receipts. Delivery is a separate line on it, so you can see exactly what it cost.
If you already hold a Coffeeangel account, tell us the account name in the form and we will look at putting the gifts on it — that is the monthly invoice, collected by direct debit fourteen days later.
If you already have an account with us
Plenty of the offices we look after run a Corporate Credit Account — a tab in one of our cafés, office catering, or both. One monthly VAT invoice with a full breakdown, collected by direct debit fourteen days later, and nobody paying at the counter.
Tell us the account name in the form and we will look at putting the gifts on the same invoice. Accounts are approved individually and are set up for café tabs and catering, so gifting usually needs a short conversation first.

Gifting is priced as listed. The 5% account discount covers food, drink and retail coffee in the cafés. It does not apply to gift sets, which contain equipment.
