A coffee family spanning 5 generations, Capim Branco - sister farm of perennial team favourite São Silvestre - has been in the care of the Andrades since 1901 with their ancestors’ arrival in Carmo do Paranaíba, in the Cerrado Mineiro region of the state of Minas Gerais. However, it wasn't until the 1970s, with the family's third generation, that they began to focus on enhancing the quality of their coffee.
Situated 1100 meters above sea level, the farm benefits from volcanic soil and enjoys an ideal climate for coffee cultivation, with well-balanced wet and dry seasons. Coupled with over a century of crop management expertise and strict harvesting standards, Capim Branco consistently produces only the finest coffee cherries.
Brothers, Ismael and Eduardo, were Cup of Excellence winners with São Silvestre in 2017 and 2018. This farm's well-earned reputation in Brazil comes down to an unrelenting commitment to excellence and investment in experimental processing.
